A record of improvisation.

This is a clothesline from my backyard that I have wanted to photograph for a long time, but I never had a camera with me when the mood struck, but today was the day!

There is little record of the previous families that lived in my little apartment, but this still hangs on, showing the record of a particularly stubborn section of the cord, and the fantastic knots invented to keep it together.

Folk details like this are great, it shows all sorts of interesting curiosity, improvisation and creativity to problem solve. There is something about little things like this that just keep me looking and pondering. I hope you enjoy it as well!!!
